Our hearts go out to all of the victims, families, and loved ones impacted by the shooting at Seattle Center this past weekend.

Like so many in our city, we are having a hard time processing that this happened in a place that means so much to our community. Seattle Center has always been a gathering place for connection, creativity, celebration, and shared experiences. We held our classes there last summer, and we know firsthand the beauty and energy that space holds for artists, families, neighbors, and visitors from near and far.
It is difficult to imagine violence taking place in such a beloved and welcoming place in our beautiful city. We are sending so much love and care to the victims, their families, and everyone affected as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
As artists and as a community, we believe deeply in the importance of coming together, caring for one another, and creating spaces where people feel connected and supported. We are reminded in moments like these how precious those spaces are and how much they mean to all of us.
Wishing our Seattle community a safe, healing, and gentle summer. We are holding everyone impacted close in our hearts.
