This summer, we are adding a new class to our curriculum.

The true foundation of any actor's work is their physical instrument: body, voice, mind, creative imagination. We have learned over the past year that the more we teach new actors how to tap into their physical potential, the further they can go in the acting sequence of classes we offer.

An actor who is attuned to what their body can do is an actor with more creative potential.

Iveliz Martel is a theatre artist and teacher who is joining us for our summer 2026 session to offer ACTING FOUNDATIONS: the actor's body, voice and creative imagination.

The class will open new actors to new capabilities and teach valuable tools for dramatic creation. This movement based class is suitable for all ages, body types and is open to anyone who is interested in discovering what their instrument is capable of.

ACTING FOUNDATIONS sets the groundwork for the sequence of acting classes that follow: STUDIO 1,2 and 3 take you to a place of competence, command and confidence in your craft.
